Often referred to as the Sun Gear Shaft, this in the 6r80 drives 1st through 4th gear, and transmits power from the A clutch to the rear sun gear of the output planetary. Installation of this billet part assures reliability and making sure every shift is completed.
The Factory shaft is cast and often can break and wipe out the One Way Clutch and leave you stranded.
